About the Semi-Vegan

I’m the girl who is thinking about  dinner when I’m half way through breakfast. I’ve always loved to eat, I love tasting new foods and if you offer me chocolate, I have a very hard time turning it down. However, as I have gotten older, my stomach and my palate have been at odds. The foods that would taste so great would end up making me sick. As a result, I felt trapped. I developed an unhealthy relationship with and attitude towards food. In my quest for health and happiness I completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher Training with Pure Yoga in New York City. I continued research, studying (I’m currently becoming a certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition) and trial and error, and found what works for me– a “clean-eating” approach to a semi-vegan lifestyle. I want to share my passion for food and health with others and show even the largest of skeptics that living a clean and semi-vegan lifestyle not only can help improve your physical and mental health but it can be downright delicious!
